Fashion Haul | River Island

Hello everyone 🙂 As promised I’m back with another haul and this time from my favourite shop River Island!! If I could only shop in one store it would hands down be River Island, I didn’t plan on buying this much but sometimes they just have too much stuff that you have to get it all 🙂 Like the last haul from New Look (see here) I tried to get casual things that would do me for going to college and just everyday wear and appart from some shoes I think I did pretty well keeping to that plan.

Hello everyone! So as it is with most things in my life the past few months I have been incredibly lazy when it comes to taking off my make up. I got into the habit of using wipes to remove my make up in the evening because it’s so quick and easy but I noticed the condition of my skin was just going downhill as the days went on. I decided in the new year if I had to focus on one thing it would be my skincare and I cannot believe that I have only discovered this product now because it is nothing short of incredible!!

Dove Vs Batiste | Dry Shampoo

Hello everyone 🙂 After a crazy couple of weeks with exams I am so happy to have a bit of time off to get back to blogging 😀 As I’ve been so busy lately something I’ve been using more and more on a daily basis is dry shampoo! I have fairly oily hair and usually wash it every 2-3 days but by the end of day 2 and always on day 3 it needs major help when it comes to oil control! I have tried quite a few different brands of dry shampoo but I think these two are the ones people tend to reach for the most!

What I Got For Christmas

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year 🙂 I thought I’d kick off the new year off with a post I love to read every year, probably because I’m a bit too nosey but I was very lucky to get a lot of very generous gifts this christmas so I thought I’d share some of them with you. Hi everyone, it’s been quite a while since my last post and I had great intentions to post regularly through November and December but with college and work I just hadn’t got enough time. It’s been a while since I did my first empties post and I haven’t really remembered to save everything I’ve used up since then but I have enough to write about by now 🙂 I love reading empties posts, I think people have a better review of a product when they’ve used up the whole thing, whether they liked it or not I always think it’s a much more honest opinion than when something has only been used once or twice.

Night-Time Skincare Routine

Hello everyone 🙂 Sorry for the lack of posts over the last week or so but between college and work I barely have time to sleep anymore. I’m going to really try make an effort to get at least 2 posts up every week because I really miss blogging regularly and I think it’s the only thing that’s going to keep me sane while everything is so chaotic at the moment 🙂

The weather here in Ireland has definitely gotten much colder over the last few weeks and I’ve changed up my night-time skincare routine a bit so I thought I’d share what I use and why I chose them 🙂

Quick Update | Blog Name Change

Just wanted to write a super quick post to tell you all that I changed my blog name 🙂 My original name was something I thought of in about 5 seconds when I decided to start my blog. I never thought that I would continue after a week never mind after a few months. I have fallen in love with blogging and thanks to everyone being so amazing and supportive I won’t be stopping anytime soon 🙂

Hello everyone 😀 As I mentioned in my september favourites this month I’ve tried to switch up what I’m using in my hair. I’ve pretty much used the same shampoo and conditoner for the last few years and because what I was using worked well for my hair I didn’t see the point in changing but I got bored of going to the same isle in boots all the time and decided to be brave and try someting new 🙂

My 5 Favourite Autumn Nail Colours

Hello Everyone 🙂 I’m so excited to write this post because along with Autumn fashion I absolutely love Autumnal nail colours. I love when the weather starts to get colder and I can start to paint my nails darker colours. I tend to change my nail polish colour every few days but these 5 colours have definitely been the few that I have been reaching for the most lately and will continue to reach for over the next few weeks 🙂

The Body Shop Hand Cream | Review

Hello everyone 🙂 I don’t know if it’s just me but as the weather is starting to get a little colder my skin has just gotten so dry, particularly my hands!! I’ve noticed the palms of my hands being incredibly dry lately and the couple of random hand creams I had a home were just not doing anything so I decided I go to The Body Shop and see if I could pick up one there because I had used their hand creams before and loved them. I ended up getting 4 of the smaller tubes rather than one big one because I couldn’t decide what scent to pick and I thought the smaller ones would be better to throw in a bag to carry around with me during the day.

September Favourites

Hello everyone 😀 somehow it’s the end of another month so it’s favourites time again 🙂 I haven’t really tried too many new things this month so it’s more me going back and finding things that I hadn’t used in a while but absolutely love. Being back in college full time and working a little aswell I’ve been really boring with my daily make-up and it has pretty much been the same everyday for the entire month, but I’ve tried to change up my skincare and haircare a bit so I could try a couple of new things 🙂

theBalm Mary Lou Manizer | Review

I have been on a major hunt for a good highlighter over the last few months. I found it pretty much impossible to find one in the drugstore so when I had to go for a higher end brand I made sure I did some research into what was worth buying. From watching YouTube videos and reading reviews theBalm always came up as a favourite when it came to highlighter so I decided to give it a try to see what all the fuss was about 🙂

Sanctuary Salt Scrub | Review

Scrubs are by far my favourite thing to buy and use so it’s about time I did a review on my favourite one. I have tried so many different scrubs in the past few years and it’s something I’m really fussy about and it takes a lot for me to love it. I’m someone who has really really dry skin on my legs so I like a pretty rough scrub and this is the coarsest one I’ve found.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream | Review

I’ve been so lazy when it comes to skincare lately so when Clinique bonus time came around last month I took it as a good opportunity to try one of their moisturisers. I’ve always wanted to try moisturiser from clinique just to see how it compares to more inexpensive brands that I usually use. I have normal to dry skin and after talking to the sales assistant for a while she thought this would be the best for my skin type.
